The spec-sheet read

Our analysis of the sourced spec sheet — positioning and trade-offs, not a hands-on review. We don't score mowers we haven't tested.

Mammotion's 2026 flagship: all-wheel drive, tri-fusion navigation and an 80% slope rating for large, complex lawns up to 5,000 m².

The LUBA 3 AWD 5000 is Mammotion's 2026 flagship and the direct successor to the LUBA 2 AWD 5000 we also list. The headline capacities carry over — 5,000 m² coverage, a 40 cm twin-disc cut and the same 80% (38.6°) slope rating from all-wheel drive — but navigation is the generational step: Mammotion's 'tri-fusion' system fuses a 360° LiDAR, Network RTK and dual-camera AI vision, where the LUBA 2 used RTK plus vision without the LiDAR layer. The 15 Ah battery is rated for up to 215 minutes per charge (an independent lab review measured closer to 180 minutes in real use) with a 145-minute recharge.

It stays a large-garden, steep-slope specialist rather than a small-lawn robot: at roughly 19 kg with IPX6 sealing and a 25–70 mm cut height, it is built for the same brief as the LUBA 2 but adds the LiDAR sensor for obstacle handling and positioning under tree cover. The clearest reasons to choose it over the LUBA 2 are the LiDAR-assisted navigation and current availability, since the LUBA 2 EU line is being superseded. Its nearest 2026 rival on slope and price is the Dreame A3 AWD Pro, which matches the 80% rating and undercuts it, but drops RTK from the navigation stack.
